Location: Florence_ItalyReports to: Buyer Manager

Type of Contract: Permanent

Main duties:

Responsible for planning and selecting a wide range of products that are sold in Patrizia Pepe Boutiques to maximise profits and to ensure our merchandise always remains competitive by fully understanding customer needs and trends.

The Role:

-To select and assemble season collections (pre & main) of products;

-To edit style selection through style out process for all product categories;

-To guarantee products reflect the brand identity & strategy and seasons are logically & commercially thought through;

-To ensure that business targets are followed using quality (mix) and quantity (turnover & profitability) product selection;

-To liaise with boutiques to provide product information & producing seasonal overview document;

-To manage in-season replenishments (reorders & cancellations) based on analysis and tactical adjustments;

-To analyse consumer buying patterns to predict future directions and identify forthcoming trends;

-To regularly review sales performance and indicators;

-To oversee plans for stock levels;

-To be up-to-date with markets trends and to be able to foresee changes in demand;

-To partner with different departments (Merchandising, Sales, Marketing, Visual Merchandising & Logistics);

The Candidate:

-Fluent in Italian (Written & spoken) is essential;

-Fluent in English (Written & spoken) is essential;

-Degree in retail merchandising, business, marketing or related fields is preferred;

-Previous experience in a similar role is essential within fashion industries;

-Comfortable in building ranges based on store profile, visualising product selections and past sales performance;

-Proven success in womenswear, accessories & menswear preferably in mono-branded luxury retailers;

-Ambitious, analytical and able to identify new product initiatives;

-Strong merchandising skills;

-Analytical and problem-solving skills;

-Must have product and brand knowledge.
