What is the opportunity?

Patrizia Pepe is looking for the next generation of Talent for our Retail Department. The 6 months training program offers recent graduates an opportunity to gain exposure to the inner workings of a global retail corporation. During our comprehensive program, you will have the opportunity to receive training and develop your skills and knowledge under the guidance of experienced professionals at Patrizia Pepe.

What will you do?

FIRST 3 MONTHS IN-STORE: BACK-TO-BASICS

Initial 3 months in-store are designed to provide an opportunity for interns to apply retail operations and sales training while delivering tangible value to our retail teams as well as gaining practical valuable work experience. In fact, within the assigned retail store team, you will develop a broad knowledge of the sales process from start to finish, with the chance to become a true personal ‘advisor', learning how to shape your strategic sales & commercial mindset in order to form meaningful relationships with our clients, whilst providing a prompt, attentive and knowledgeable service. Each intern will be engaged and exposed to various facets of the retail fashion industry during their internship experience such as Finance & Administration, Logistics, CRM, Product Knowledge, Styling, Operations, Buying & Merchandising, HR, Training and H&S activities.

3 TO 6 MONTHS AT CORPORATE LEVEL: BEST-IN-CLASS

Following the initial period In-store, to enhance the Retail Academy experience, every intern will be assigned to a manager in our HQ’s in Florence, who will help facilitate a broader view at corporate level of the intern’s role within our company. You will become a support for the manager in the continuous implementation of new projects related to both existing and new stores. You will help the manager to drive changes to business process to support sales growth. You will support the actions aimed to maximise store profitability and meet sales targets in partnership with Manager and Retail Field Management. You will contribute to analyse data and generate reports, statistics, timeline, tables, graphs, correspondence and presentations related to a wide range of matters.

What do you need to succeed?

A true and genuine passion for fashion and the retail industry.

Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

High attention to detail.

The ability to work in fast-paced environments delivering quality solutions.

Excellent written and spoken communication skills.

Fluency in Italian (written & spoken).

Fluency in English (written & spoken).

Previous short experience in the retail field could be beneficial but not essential.

To be a people-person.

Very good command of Excel.

A passion for numbers and analytical skills.

A highly motivated & problem solver.

The ability to inspire and be inspired by customers & colleagues.

To be someone motivated by working towards goals and targets.
